I gathered here in a zipped (*.zip) folder hundreds of DX7 soundbanks (sysex format only) that I gleaned through the years by surfing on the Net.Sorry, I did not sort it out, you'll certainly find several duplicates in it. But you'll also have access to hundreds of sounds to 'feed' your favorite synth.
As I downloaded all these soundbanks for free in the past, I may consider it as public domain material. Now, if you are the owner of one or several of these soundbanks and you do not agree that they are available on this page, please inform me via e-mail, and I'll retire it immediately.

Here is a total of 468 soundbanks (14'973 patches) that I converted from the SynLib DX/TX Editor library (Marc Bareille's program) and organized in 32 patches standard sysex files (*.syx - 4'104 octets).

2°/ Here is a 5 soundbanks set which gathers patches published in the 'Guitares & Claviers' french issue during the mid '80s-early '90s. They are all readers' creations. Many thanks to Jelowh who carefully programmed all of it!

3°/Here is the complete collection (85 DX7 mkI patches) published in the 'Aftertouch Publication' (official publication of the Yamaha users group - USA) during the 1983-89 years. Most of them are readers' creations. I carefully programmed all of them manually with scanned documents extracted from the original issues.

After many requests, here it is. I thought these patches were gone forever, but few weeks ago i accidentally found one backup that contained them. Essentially everything that you hear in the demos is here in this set, plus much more. Because Youtube demo would take too much time to go through all 128 patches that are in this set. One thing to clear straight away – this set does not contain the retro emulation types of sounds that some associate with analogue (i.e Jump Patch, Lucky Man etc). I leave that to the others and instead focus on the machine itself, its DSP power and sonic palette. This is what this set is about – AN1x, as a unique piece of equipment. A small notice regarding the demos: Since i no longer have AN1x, i can not make any additional new demos. What’s in the Youtube demos is all i can present at this point.
